savoring

carey savoring, canon digital rebel xt

I am gathering up some sweet time tonight to savor my close friendships.

Savoring.

At this moment I am sitting in a space of allowing the love and support I feel to fill me up as I take each breath.

I am astounded that during one of the most difficult times in my life, these women are coming down from the mountains around the world to dance with me, to remind me who I am and because of this, it has also become one of the most extraordinary times of my life.

You have inspired tears of joy (spilling as I write this) and have soothed my tears of grief.

So to my tribe, my blogging sisters and the close women in my life...tonight I am savoring each one of you. I continue to learn from you deep life lessons each day. I feel full. Full of wisdom. Full of a fierce joy that I did not know existed. Full of belonging. I belong. We belong. We are not alone.

I am savoring. Savoring you...yes you.

Oh... a big deep sigh ... thank you, thank you, thank you.

We are all SO blessed in this journey we are taking together.

And you Deni. You may be the glue holding us all together.

If it were not for glorious *YOU* : Leoni would not have reached me. We live in the same town - in Australia . 20mins away from each other... and HOURS away from you ~on the side of our world~ but if it were not for you - it would have taken MUCH longer for our paths to cross.

You just might BE angel.
You just might Be Glue!

*such a big, squeezy, huge, loving hug to you*
And much, much love

Just by reaching out--by your willingness to be so open in your joys and your sorrows, you are making ripples on a pond for others...I truly think your perspective is a beautiful one with everything you are working/loving through. I am learning from this...

You-my darling sweet soul sister...

I will always remember and savor the warmth and love you extended the very first time we chatted. It reminded me of my mom. She had the same capacity to be so open and loving.

I thank you and the rest of the sister tribe-for coming down the mountain- for being so bare souled and couragous. For opening up and share yourselves and for supporting and loving eachother and me.

***tears, and more tears****

I am sending love out to...you you my sweet and for the rest of the tribe....

I once read that every woman should have a friend who makes her laugh and one who lets her cry. Women are great, and I'm glad you have your sisters around you

I just read something today about friendship with women. Part of the article stated "Opposite-sex friends lead you down the road to relationships. Same-sex friends provide you emotional stability. My advice... is to stop the wild ups and downs and to concentrate on building quality, intimate friendships... These friendships build you up. They teach you what's good about yourself, how you can grow...

From reading your posts and the comments people post, you do seem like someone who has taken this truth, about the value and importance of friendship with women, and shown it to be something of strength and vitality.

Thank you for sharing your journey.

I pretty much think that the "wild" ups and downs of life - in themselves teach us lessons and a pretty darn lot about ourselves too.

And our Boho Spiritual GLUE (okay it is not a graceful word I use, but it is useful, real and true... it just is what it is!!) soul sister... is doing so very well both learning and teaching those lessons.

Because of the remarkable soul she has AND because of her ability to share her truth... she has formed many strong and intimate relationships. There is nothing seemingly about it!

This blog is only the tip of the iceberg... I am sure many of the great women connected with and by Deni communicate mainly by other means, email, phone calls, in person.

You just keep BEING YOU Deni, you are perfect as you are!

And there are so many women ... who can learn SO MUCH from YOU. Such as mineself *grin*

But I do have a deeper theory on that Taurean of yours... will share via email later on.

You have to be the most tender hearted woman that I have the pleasure of knowing. Have I told you yet how much I've missed you?

I wanted to add to these comments, but all these amazing women have said what is in my heart. You, wonderful girl, have strengthened all of us, and have inspired us. I am amazed by your open heart and willingness to share it with any who will partake. It seems there is somehow enough for all of us. (even those who do not make thier presence known, as I have a tendency to do)

Thank you, friend, for savoring and letting us savor!

xoxo

One of the commenters calls us a tribe - I like that. This is a great way of connecting and your blog just reaches out to everyone and makes them feel welcome. I'm glad to be part of the tribe...
