messy with curves
pastel drawings in progess, canon digital rebel xt
Today Joshua Radin, Josh Kelley and I got messy with some curves up in my studio. Me and their music, that is. I haven't broke free like this in longer than I'd like to admit. Their smooth melodies inspired me to move those curves ever so softly across the paper. I was longing for and admiring these figures in my drawings like the Josh's loved the muses in their songs. I need a cigarette and I don't even smoke!
Thanks for the inspiration guys.

Mmmmmm.... Joshua Radin. Yum. Not quite sure who Josh Kelly is though, I'll have to check him out.
Love the curvy drawings, they are lovely. I am always amazed at how beautiful and soft the female form is... That sounded so dorky, but its true:)

"And I Love you..." Hahaha
Wow-you get the proportions so perfect darling.
You make me want to get messy with chalk:)
can i just say that i can't WAIT until your store opens?!!!
these are beautiful. you are beautiful.
what always strikes me about your beautiful 'curve' pastel drawings is the way the bodies are 'cropped' but don't feel 'chopped' up. i think what i'm trying to say is that they are so celebratory and i adore the way the fill the page.
beautiful work/play!

gorgeous figures!! i'd love to have a drawing like that in my home, but haven't found the right one. any recommendations of where to look? i have a picture in my mind of the drawing, but am not talented enough to draw it myself. [...sigh...]
Den...you do know that you can't put those pictures on coffee mugs!
{hee hee}
if you did...there would be a glut of new MALE coffee drinkers
hey...you may have something there after all ;-)
