new soul*

I was introduced to this song last week by a magical mermaid. I've watched it at least once a day and now I want to share it with all of you. The lyrics, the beauty, the art, the spirit of this video resonates with me on so many levels.

While I am working with lots of deadlines this month, I feel grateful that I can blast my favorite songs such as these on iTunes and rock the house while working. Then on my breaks I stand up, twirl around and get a bit jiggy with it.

Dance for me today.

My boy and I danced and twirled and danced. Then I made us some paper crowns. The prince and I danced some more! Each time the song ended, he signed "more" and we'd hit play and dance again. Thank you so much for this ray of sunshine today!

Love it. Pretty soon the music in your home will be happy baby laughs and belly giggles, the sweet sound of baby cries only for you and the sh, sh, sh sound of rocking the baby to sleep. New soul.

Thank you for sharing. I had not heard of Yael Naim before and you have done a very good thing by spreading the word :) Don't know how I missed her. The opening piano in the song is super and uplifting. Just what I needed, what we all need. Thank you!

This is an awesome song!!! My other half keeps walking round the house singing it. I learnt how to play it on the guitar this afternoon but I had to give up as my fingers were hurting a little :(
