yes we can!

I'm not one to get political on my blog for many reasons but I felt I really needed to share this. What I love most about Obama is that he inspires people enough to collaborate on this beautiful song full of passionate messages that people need to hear. It saddens me when I think about how long it has been that we as a country have felt inspired by our leader.

Americans are wounded and we need to be healed. My heart goes out to this man that gives us what I feel our country needs. This has nothing to do with politics and everything to do with faith and trust in human kind.

Tomorrow is Super Tuesday in some states. Get your lovely booties out there to vote because together we have the power to create awesome change and help to heal this nation!

Yes we can.

Hi Boho girl,

I have been lurking here for ages - I love your blog! I just had to comment on this post - I live in Australia and have been following your primaries closely. We had an election last year and neither of the two candidates were particularly inspiring, but I agree, Obama is. I hope you get a passionate leader in November.

I feel so grateful to have an experience in my lifetime like those that I have learned about from our nations history... such as "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." and "I have a dream!". Those were amazingly inspiring moments in our past, yet watching this clip made me feel joyful in the present. We are always apart of history, but this is history worth remembering!

I am not here to discourage you. I will agree in the fact that he has alot of great things to say and the fact that he would not put his hand on his heart for the national anthem really has me pondering if he is the man i want running my country.

placing ones hand over heart is a not a requirement during the singing of the national anthem.

i say this with sincerity and respect.

p.s. 2 out of 3 americans don't even know the words to the national anthem.

Thanks. Sometimes it is difficult to see past all the smearing that goes on and remember that hope and change and love are a part of politics too.

Yes! What I find even more inspiring is that Will.i.am was inspired enough to create this piece. Such a sense of hope and unity. And the idea of shared word, beliefs and hopes is so powerful. Thank you for posting and thanks for this wonderful place in which you post your lovely and inspiring thoughts and images!
