the blond in our family...

my niece kelly, senior portrait, canon digital rebel xti

i heart her.

this quote made me think of her today and how we all feel in her presence.

"And what does it feel like?" we asked.
"Well, " she said,
leaning over to us like a secret,
"it feels like a gust of wind
blowing inside your heart.
It feels like bright yellow paint."

~ Monique Duvall, The Persistence of Yellow

What a beautiful portrait! Always inspiring.

I also wanted to thank you for unknowingly being there for me. I am half way through the master cleanse and I reward myself at the end of every day by checking out your archive for the cleanse and reading how you felt on the same day. It was so wonderful that you would share that in the first place but I'm now unbelievably thankful that you did.

Wishing you love and good wishes,
Micheline

she reminds me of you...
with every word you write,
the wind blows straight into
our hearts,
coloring it with the
colors of the rainbow,
and upon leaving,
it feels a million different
things all at once.xx

this and the photos on your flickr capture the essence of this quote so darned perfectly.

You have that way about you honey-capturing the most beautiful deiscious parts of people you photograph.

I so heart the photos.

loving you

XOXO
